coketalk: Canadian parents refuse to reveal baby’s genderI love this news item, mainly because I have a tendency to call babies “it,” as in “What’s its name?” … I LOVE THIS! I wish this was the norm. I realized early on that gender was a sham. The only purpose gender serves is to constrain most people and alienate others who don’t fit nicely in one of the two boxes. I LOVE THIS! I wish this was the norm. I realized early on that gender was a sham.
